I purchased the Scoop Free Automatic Litter Box hoping that it was better than litter maid. It's slight better, easier to clean because of the crystals. I started with the disposable litter trays but in order to save money I purchased the Forever Litter Tray. Man that was a mistake. The box was not a perfect fit, so urine would leak on the floor. The clear cover trap was horribly small, it would jam the rake. Then the magnet fell off, I glued it back on with krazy glue and it was ok. But really that is pretty crappy. This product wasn't cheap, it was like $40 or $45. I finally put it to rest! I bought the disposable trays again straight from the scoop free website and shipping was free because I sign up with them. Now the cool thing is that the disposable trays are being built better and if you just change the litter, you can reuse the tray. I've used it for almost a month right now and just change the tray, they even come with the trash bags. I know why they are not selling this product anymore, but I had to put in this review

The Forever Litter Tray is a wonderful item for the Scoop Free Litter Box. It is well made and saves so much money
from the disposable cartridges. It is sturdy and easy to clean when needed.

The forever litter tray is wonderful!! It works perfectly and saves me tons of money on disposable trays. This is my 2nd one & the only reason I ordered another one was because they weren't going to be made anymore so I thought I should have a backup. The one I just bought was the "new & Improved" version and it is even more wonderful than my old one!

I think that I will go back to the original dissopable tray.
This tray is a good idea, but it isn't touch free, the just crystals
don't work as well and because the forever tray doesn't have
a trap, it smells. I would never put my box inside the house:(

It is so nice to have a reusable tray rather than going through the disposable trays. The only complaint that I have so far is that my cat scratches A LOT and sometimes the hard plastic causes a high pitched squeak (think like nails on a chalk board...)
On a funny note, yesterday my cat got spooked by something as he was finishing up in the litter box and he bolted out - taking along the purple hood and the clear plastic cover with him. I found him sulking in the other room and the covers on the floor a few feet away from the litter box! (easily put back into place with no damage done!)
