The granules are too fine and get tracked everywhere. Mostly it doesn't bother me because the bottom of my feet are tough. However, the granules get into the bed and the very fine sand like granules cause discomfort on my skin and keep me from getting a good night sleep.

Love this product and they plastic tray, so much better than disposable. Found putting a small fan blowing over the litter helps tremendously!!
Using the Fresh Step Crystals (from Target) while this is out of stock with no issues.

GREAT Product, especially this latest version! Blows other products (Including the Original replacements) away.. I live in a one bedroom apartment and there is absolutely NO hint of smell from the litter box.. Two Pre-Measured bags to pour makes my life easy.. Doubled up with the Forever Trays and I'm set.. I love Rick Weldon's stuff soo much, I'm going to buy his new Product Forever Rake Replacement Kit -- Replace that rusty Scoop Free rake with stainless steel coated with Teflon! (FITS LB1 AND LB2 MODELS ONLY) even though I don't really need it.. My Scoop Free Litter Box will have soo many upgrades..
Rick Weldon has unbelievable Customer Service.. He really cares for his customers.. Try his product and you will not be disappointed.. If you're for some reason not satisfied, Mr. Weldon will fight to make you happy.. For me, this is the best product Amazon.com has.. Keep up the great work Rick!
Outstanding Litter August 5, 2010

I have been using this litter for almost a year and really love it! Not one bad thing to say about it!I enrolled in Amazon Prime so I love being able to get it in two days for free or one day for only $3.99! Great quality and great price! But now all of the sudden it is out of stock?! Come on really?! Now it is starting to sound like the local Walmart, carry all of these new improved items, get everyone hooked on buying them, then oh, sorry, it is temporarily out of stock, then guess what?! The next time, they quit carrying it. I thought with Amazon I would not have to deal with all of that stuff, well guess I was wrong. Hopefully it gets stocked again soon..........

After reading countless reviews I decided to order this product. I am now 16 boxes in. I noticed in the reviews that many people were commenting on was how long the product lasts. I think the length of time it lasts is dependent primarily on the diet of the cat. I have two ten year old domestic short haired cats. When I first started using the product the cats were on a diet of dry adult Science Diet cat food. I have since learned that the quality of this food has changed over the past ten years from top notch to very poor. I have switched them to Fromm's (grain free Surf and Turf) and Instinct (grain free Rabbit Meal) dry cat food. Additionally, I give them small portions of grain free wet cat food from those same brands to promote additional fluids for their kidneys. Once their diets change the crystals went from lasting two to three weeks to one and a half. Then, after purchasing a new filtered cat fountain, the crystals only lasted a week. I should also mention that the litter box smells much less to nothing all all once the diet was changed. I am happy to spend the extra money to keep their litter box clean. It still costs less then the ScoopFree cartridges. I should also mention that before I got the ScoopFree litter box with the Forever Litter Tray they were frequently going to the bathroom outside of the box.
The other thing I noticed was that the company really seems to care about their product, your pets and customer service. How many companies care enough to respond back to every personal inquiry. In this day and age companies like this are few and far between. I am in no way associated with this company but as I don't have a job right now, this is the kind of company I am looking to work for. Kudos on coming up with the product and caring so much.
